4.8 More right-click options

The right-click menu is available on every grid in Total Enterprise CRM. It contains some common menu items such as Copy, Delete, and Select all which are available for every grid in the system.

The table below shows the right-click context menu with a description of each command. Note that many menu items have a shortcut key which are consistent throughout the system. Right-clicking in the grid will bring up the menu.

 

New – creates a new record.
Copy – creates a copy of the selected record and opens it for editing.
Open – views the currently selected record.
Delete – does just what you think it would do.
Select all – selects all records.
Refresh – gets the latest information from the database.
Clear filters – resets all filters on this grid.
Tag as – allows you to add one or more tags to the selected record(s).
Filter by tags – filters the current grid by tags.
Import – invokes a wizard to allow you to import  data from a comma-separated value (CSV) file.

 

Export – allows export of this grid to a CSV file.
Record info – records the history of transactions.
Split view – provides a useful grid and data combination view (see below).

 

How do you use Split view?

Split view allows you to view lists of items and their data, much like the reading panel in Microsoft Outlook.
