In Total Enterprise CRM, every column of the grid contains a special function. This function can be used to find, for example, the total number of records, the maximum numeric value among records, or the numeric sum of records for any selected column. This function is represented by the symbol ∑.
To use this function, follow these steps:
Step 1: Select the ∑ icon

Every column header inside the grid contains the symbol ∑. Click on this symbol at the header of the column whose statistics you require. A dialog box will be displayed, as shown in step 2.
Step 2: Select the required summary

Select the function that you want to perform on a selected column:
| • | Average: average numeric value of all records in a selected column |
| • | Count: total number of records in a selected column |
| • | Maximum: maximum numeric value among all records in a selected column |
| • | Minimum: minimum numeric value among all records in a selected column |
| • | Sum: numeric value representing the total amount of all records in selected column. |
Step 3: Observe the results

Depending on what you selected in the previous dialog box, a grand summary is displayed at bottom of that column.
