5.4 Communications

Communication is a way of interacting with a contact or company. In Total Enterprise CRM, communication may take the following forms:

 

email
fax
SMS
letter
target list.

 

Email, fax, SMS and letter are familiar to everyone. A target list is a group of contacts, companies or leads that you have specified.

 

You can use the Communications tab to:

 

view a list of all messages added in the system
view a list of messages assigned to you (ie messages associated with your account)
send an email to a contact or company
send a fax to a contact or company
send an SMS to a contact or company
send a letter to a contact or company
reuse an existing email
reuse an existing fax
reuse an existing SMS
reuse an existing letter
create an email template for future use
create a fax template for future use
create an SMS template for future use
create a letter template for future use
view a list of all email templates added in the system
view a list of all fax templates added in the system
view a list of all SMS templates added in the system
view a list of all letter templates added in the system
create a new target list or edit an existing one
view a list of all target lists added in the system.
