Each company represents an account or an organisation with which you do or may do business.
The company tab helps you manage customer accounts for your organisation or business. Company contains your customer information such as name, address and email. Each company can be linked with other records such as contacts and opportunities.
You can use company tab to:
| • | create a new company or edit an existing company |
| • | view a list of all companies added to the system |
| • | view a list of companies assigned to you ie companies associated with your account |
| • | tag a company with one or more tags |
| • | create a project or projects to be linked to a company |
| • | add a contact or contacts to a company |
| • | add a note or notes to a company |
| • | add an opportunity as a company |
| • | compose an email to a person at a selected company |
| • | schedule a call, meeting or task with a company |
| • | send an email, SMS or fax to a company |
| • | assign a company to a relevant user |
| • | maintain orders, invoices and payments information for a company. |
Since these options are on the company module, Total Enterprise CRM assumes that if you create an item such as a note, project or email from this module that it is related to the selected company. This theme continues throughout the system to reduce unnecessary data entry.
Companies are used to manage any type of organisation, club or group of people. These could be customers, competitors, suppliers - or all of these. Linked to the company is a list of contacts, meetings, sales opportunities, telephone calls, documents and other relevant information. You can add companies manually to the system or you can import an already created list of companies.
Company records, stored in the system, can also be used to boost sales, create campaigns or maintain target lists, enabling you to get your message to your customers and open new sales opportunities. If you have an imminent marketing campaign, by using these records you can choose which companies should be included in those promotions and which should be ignored.
