How do you remove tags assigned to records?

You can tag records in the database to help organise them. New tags are simple to create, and an assigned tag is easy to remove.

 

Step 1: Select the record

 

 

Inside the grid, double-click the record that you want un-tagged.

 

Step 2: Click Tags

 

 

Tags are displayed at the top so that you can see them whenever you open this record again.

 

To remove a tag or tags assigned to this record, select the Tags command on the ribbon.

 

Step 3: Choose the tag

 

 

Choose the tag or tags that you want to remove in the right-hand side panel under Selected items, and click on the <-Remove button.

 

When you have removed the applied tag or tags from the right-hand panel, click Ok to view the result as shown below.

 

Step 4: Observe the result

 

 

You can see that there is now no tag attached to this record.

Alternatively, the same action can be performed by following these steps.

 

 

Step 1: Select Tag as...

 

 

Inside the grid, right-click on the record that you want un-tagged, and choose Tag as...

 

Step 2: Choose the tag

 

 

Choose the tag or tags that you want to remove in right-hand side panel under Selected items, and click on the <-Remove button.

 

Finally, click Ok to finish.
